given by AADM to Vasai-Virar City Municipal Corporation at the Vasai-Virar
Mayor’s Marathon

On the
request of the Vasai-Virar City Municipal Corporation (VVMC), Aniruddha’s
Academy of Disaster Management ( AADM) offered its seva for controlling crowd
at the Vasai-Virar Mayor’s Marathon on Sunday 27th October 2013. The time was
from 6.00 a.m to 12.00 p.m.
About 10,000
runners most of them from India’s elite long distance runners participated in
the event. The event was hailed as a national level event by the Athletics
Federation of India. The Men’s Open (Full Marathon :42.195 km) and the Men’s
Above 50 started at the Viva College in Virar west.
For this event, AADM had deployed 284 Disaster Management
Volunteers.
